Our client, a leading Engineering Contractor operating across Europe, committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions is urgently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Engineer for Power & Renewables projects. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical engineering work is carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.   

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:  

  • Lead the electrical engineering team in the design, development, and execution of MV & HV substations ensuring alignment with project goals.  

  • Manage and oversee electrical engineering work throughout all project phases, from concept and design to construction, testing, and commissioning.  

  • Develop and review detailed electrical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.  

  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.  

  • Ensure that all electrical systems are designed for safety, reliability, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.  

  • Carry out regular inspections and audits of electrical installations ensuring all electrical engineering work meets regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company quality assurance procedures.  

  • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.  

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to electrical engineering works, ensuring efficient use of resources.  

  • Ensure Health & Safety, Environment and Quality are followed and maintained on site. 

  • Prepare comprehensive updated project documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and as-built drawings ready for review or submission. 

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 

  • 8+ years’ experience in electrical engineering/ management within industrial installations. 

  • Strong understanding of HV and LV systems.  

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation, components, and design principles. 

  • Proficiency in Electrical Engineering software & tools. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.  

  • Prominent level of accuracy and attention to detail in design, documentation, and quality control.
